Bracing

Bracing is a non-invasive treatment option used to provide support, stability, and protection to an injured or painful area of the body. Medical braces can help reduce stress on joints, muscles, and the spine while improving alignment and limiting movements that may aggravate an injury or chronic condition.

Depending on the location and cause of pain, bracing may be recommended for conditions such as:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Arthritis and joint pain

  • Knee pain and instability

  • Sprains and strains

  • Sports-related injuries

  • Degenerative joint conditions

  • Injuries requiring additional support during recovery

  • Chronic musculoskeletal pain

Braces are available for different areas of the body and can be selected based on a patient's specific condition, anatomy, activity level, and treatment goals. A brace may help stabilize an affected joint or region, reduce painful movement, improve function, and provide additional support during daily activities.

At Interventional Pain & Wellness Center, bracing may be incorporated into a comprehensive pain management plan alongside other conservative or interventional treatments. Our medical team evaluates each patient's symptoms and underlying condition to determine whether bracing is appropriate and which type of support may provide the greatest benefit.

If you are experiencing persistent joint, back, or musculoskeletal pain, schedule an evaluation with Interventional Pain & Wellness Center to determine whether bracing may be appropriate for your condition.
