Interventional Pain & Wellness Center is a medical wellness center focused on pain management and injury prevention. Our approach to medical health and wellness incorporates preventative and therapeutic methods with particular emphasis on interventional pain relief. Our patients’ health and well-being are at the forefront of our practice and its mission.

Through a patient-centered approach, we encourage and facilitate patients’ control and management of their condition and pain. We aim to address all concerns and symptoms as well as assess varying factors contributing to the patient’s health, including nutrition, activity, and stress control, to help the body's natural instinct and ability to heal. We provide a wide range of treatments, preventative care, and various therapies to help patients attain and maintain complete wellness.

Dr Kush Tripathi is a fellowship trained interventional pain physician and board certified anesthesiologist. Dr Tripathi graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in their accelerated combined BA/MD program. He successfully completed his transitional year training at St Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI and anesthesiology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Subsequently, he went to the University of North Carolina for his fellowship in pain management.

Dr Tripathi specializes in the management of chronic pain with a focus on interventional techniques. In training, he focused on medical med management for back pain, postoperative pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Dr Tripathi has a strong passion for sports medicine and is proficient in joint disease evaluation, management, and treatment.

Dr Tripathi is a part of the South Florida surgical group and Broward Specialty Center, but practices independently. He is also an active member in the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), American Medical Association (AMA), American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA), and North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS). He has presented several abstracts at national conferences and has received awards for his work in anesthesia research.

Dr Tripathi was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He grew up playing soccer, basketball, running, and watching Michigan football. In Chicago, he became a foodie and fine dining connoisseur. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities. He is married and recently relocated to the Fort Lauderdale area.

Dr. Marc S. Cohen Is a double board certified physician in anesthesia and pain management. He is a Florida native, originally born in Miami, spending most of his childhood in Boca Raton. He attended Emory University in Atlanta earning a B.S. in neuroscience and behavioral biology. As an undergraduate, he conducted research and published peer reviewed articles at the Yerkes Primate Center. Dr. Cohen is an alumnus of Georgetown University where he earned an M.S. in physiology and biophysics. After graduation, he earned his M.D. at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He volunteered with global health Organizations to help bring medical access to disadvantaged groups in the Middle East.

Dr. Cohen trained at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City, completing both his internal medicine internship and anesthesia residency. He has published several articles in medical journals and is an author in a leading textbook in his field. He went on to graduate from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, completing his fellowship in interventional pain management. His skill set includes injections for chronic pain syndromes that affect the spine, joints, nerves, and muscles of the body. He focuses on procedures that save people from needing surgery, including epidurals, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, facet injections, spinal cord stimulation, DRG stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, MILD, joint injections, migraine treatment, regenerative medicine including PRP, and more.

Dr. Cohen maintains privileges at several hospitals in the area, including Boca Regional Hospital, Delray Medical Center, Broward Health System, Northwest Medical Center, and several surgical centers. He is also involved with medical societies, such as the American Society of Anesthesia and the Florida Medical Association.

For fun, Dr. Cohen likes to travel and spend time with his wife, child, and friends. Dr. Cohen likes taking advantage of the outdoors, including fishing and golf. He grew up enjoying surfing and was a musician in high school playing the classical clarinet and jazz saxophone.
